15 Year Anniversary of 9/11 Memorial Service

In recognition of the 15 year anniversary of 9/11 the Williamsburg Fire Department will be holding a memorial service on Sunday 9/11/16, 9am to 10:30am @ the Williamsburg Fire Department at 5 North Main St, Williamsburg.

"In recognition of the 15 year anniversary of 9/11 the Williamsburg Fire Department will be holding a memorial service on Sunday 9/11/16, 9am to 10:30am @ the Williamsburg Fire Department at 5 North Main St, Williamsburg. The Williamsburg Fire department would like to extend an invitation to the public to join us in this remembrance of the 343 Firefighters, 23 Police Officers, 37 Port Authority Officers and thousands of civilians who tragically perished in the events on 9/11.

The public is invited to arrive at the fire station at 9am and look through some items collected by the department and some of the members during and after the events of 9/11. At approximately 9:50am members and public will be asked to participate in the ringing of the bell, lowering of the flag, moment of silence, and ringing of the final bell. "
